Long Description:

301 South Main, once the Bank of Carthage, has been altered by having a third story added and removed. However, its rock-faced Romanesque marble facade, which replaced the pre 1888 brick one, ties in well with the architecture of the Square.

– National Register Nomination

The building appears to be in good condition.  It is currently use as a deli and ice cream shop
