Long Description:The church was built in 1869 by FW Scheenstra.
The hall church with eclectic details for a building façade and tower with spire constricted. The church resembles the Oosterkade Church (1863) in Stadskanaal. In 1966 burned a part of the church. The church organ from 1900 was built by the Firm Oekelen & Zn .. After the 1966 fire was restored so that the sound character is completely changed.
