Quick Description: The Lakeview Cemetery: Traveling north from Osoyoos on Hwy. 97 turn right on 176th Avenue to cemetery. The turnoff is just past the Peach Hill Farm Market.

Lakeview Cemetery

Lakeview Cemetery is a large cemetery with approximately 1,500 internments. It is well maintained by the city of Osoyoos. Within the cemetery is a designated area for Veterans. This is a rather small Veterans area with about 50 internments. There was a recent burial the day we were there.

Located at the front of the area is a flag with a plaque that was placed by:

Royal Canadian Legion
Branch 173 - Osoyoos

We honor all those Veterans that are at rest here.

It is also known as the Osoyoos Cemetery and was established around the 1950s. Also other designated areas are: Catholic, cremains and a large lawn area with all the headstones flush to the ground.

Dawn to Dusk 7 days a week
