Long Description:
Located on the campus of University Preparatory School (formerly known has Shasta Union High School and Nova High School) is one of two school gymnasiums. This gymnasium was named after a former school district superintendent, Michael J. Stuart, who was superintendent from 1998 to 2008 as indicated on the dated plaque near the gymnasium entrance. The gymnasium and plaque were formally dedicated in his name in July 2012.
