Narrenpack Theater is located in a cellar in the of a historic building in the old town of Bern. The theater group was founded in 1983 and had guest performances in several different theaters, in 1985 they opened their own stage in the cellar of a 16th century house in Kramgasse.
The ensemble usually produces one or two plays per year, mainly socio-critical plays in Bernese Swiss German. They have also gone on tour through Switzerland with some of their most successful productions.
