Long Description:
The Junior Fire Station No. 3 was built 1852. During Civil War the station was used by the U.S. Army for various purposes including as a field hospital for the treatment of the wounded. Following the war the station returned to its roles as a fire station. It continued to serve as a fire station until 1993.
