Long Description:
The mark is an unstamped pipe cap, set on the top of an iron pipe projecting about 5 inches, in the southwest part of the Old Burying Ground in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Nova Scotia Department of Lands and Forests survey mark is about 300 feet west of the centerline of Barrington Street, about 200 feet north of the centerline of Morris Street, 23.0 feet north of the east stone gatepost of the southwest gate of the Old Burying Ground, and 7.8 feet east of the east edge of a sidewalk.
