Long Description:
From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 9.4 miles to the intersection with FR14. Turn right on FR14 and continue 2.8 miles to the junction with FR1430. Turn right on FR1430 and continue 1.2 miles to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on steel pipe in a mound of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 325' N and downhill from FR1430 in a clearing overgrown by ceanothus. Found three bearing trees with ATTENTION signs on the reverse sides. One ponderosa pine is a snag, and a second is the only accessory with a yellow BEARING TREE tag.
