Long Description:
The Soo Line Depot was built in 1889 from locally quarried brownstone. For a time it housed a brewery and two restaurants until the interior was destroyed by fire in 2000. It has since been restored and made into office space. A most impressive Baldwin “Decapod” engine is on display on the other side of the parking lot, the world’s largest steam engine.
