Long Description:
Collingwood Beach is a popular family beach open all year round & being on Jervis Bay, enjoys small waves & crystal white sands. Beach goers can frolic in the shallow waters, play cricket, investigate the tannin stained waters of Moona Moona Creek, walk on rock platforms, sunbath & build sand castles with their children. The fitter ones could walk all the way to Vincentia via the beach.

Parking is available nearby & it is a short walk to the beach down a narrow sandy path through the dunes.

Collingwood Beach is not patrolled by surf life savers so you need to closely supervise your children. You need to bring beach chairs, umbrella, drinks, food etc. Remember to slip, slop, slap so as to protect yourself from prolonged exposure to the Sun. Dogs, cars, horses, motor cycles, fires & alcohol are not allowed on the beach.

The cafes of Vincentia & Huskisson are not far away as is the Husky Pub so a visit to one of these on the way home is obligatory for many.

Access to this beach & all that I have visited in Australia is free.
