Long Description:This 1987 Ford C8000 Pumper is one of three at this station, each one a little different than their siblings. This one is equipped with a 1,050 gallon tank and an 800 gallon per minute pump. Made by Anderson's Engineering of Langley, BC, its serial number is #CS-1050-99.
Though Anderson's made their first tanker in 1970, production began in earnest later, in 1974. In the next 26 years they produced over 400 trucks, before going into bankruptcy in 2000. Though most of their production remained in Canada, units were exported to Guam, Saipan and industrial and mining operations in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia.
