Long Description:
Inside the station, however, are some state of the art fire fighting vehicles. Among them is this HUB Pumper of relatively recent vintage. It is built on a Spartan chassis. HUB, of Abbotsford, British Columbia, declares itself Canada's oldest fire fighting apparatus manufacturer, and I'm not about to dispute the claim.

We arrived at Nelson Fire Hall No. 1 to view the museum, which is attached to the south side of the fire hall. The fireman on duty was washing the ladder truck at the time and kindly allowed us to not only browse the museum at our leisure, but also to photograph the new equipment, as well.
