Quick Description: The former Dewsbury Meeting House for the Religious Society of Friends. The grounds include a graveyard, the stones of which still line the garden. Over 200 people were buried in the graveyard.

Long Description:
The meeting house was built in 1831 and used until 1968. The meeting house was sold to an evangelical church around 1974.
It was later acquired by Dewsbury Arts Group, a local art and theatre charity. The original building holds the group's studio theatre. The cottage, next to the main building, has recently been demolished and an extention added in its place with rehearsal rooms and a workshop.
