The risers of the steps that proceed upward in the Staircase have colorful names. The five steps, proceeding upward from the top of the Grand Canyon, are the Chocolate Cliffs, the Vermillion Cliffs, the White Cliffs, the Grey Cliffs, and the Pink Cliffs.
