Long Description:
Not far from lock 15. Under the lock there is a feeder entering from River Morell.
The supply of water from the Morell was a reason why Dublin Corporation had actively involved in the Grand Canal construction. The canal was used as a source for drinking water for Dublin since 1777 to 1869.
