The St. John's Convention Centre is the largest convention centre in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador with a 16,000 sq. ft. Convention Hall and 2,200 sq. ft. of meeting space on the upper level.
A $45 million expansion is currently under construction and is scheduled to open in 2016. It will boost the convention centre's total size to 45,000 sq. ft.
It is linked, via above street pedway, to the Mile One Centre. It has capacity for 6,000 spectators and has 33,000 sq. ft. of space on the arena floor.
