Long Description:The Rhoda Goldman Concert Meadow is a natural amphitheater located in a canyon setting of
Sigmund Stern Recreation Grove. The main audience area of the amphitheater is a grassy meadows and rising levels with rock works sectioning off different areas. The back side of the meadow rises into an canyon-like wall. There are many eucalyptus tree trucks arranged horizontally on the hillside for additional seating, it appears. The whole canyon setting is surrounded by eucalyptus trees.
The Rhoda Goldman Concert Meadow has been the site of the
Stern Grove Festival for over 75 years. This is an admission-free weekly series of concerts through the summer months of June, July and August.
