Long Description:
Located on a long coral-colored 1 story building in Mazatlan's historic center, this sign is in Spanish and English. The English portion reads:

"The Redo House

(Muralla Sports Club)

This building served as military barracks during the French
Intervention of 1864-1866. Sometime later, it was refurbished as a
residence for the Redo family, influential merchants and
politicians during the 30-year rule of President Porfirio Diaz.
The Club Deportivo Muralla (Muralla Sports Club), one of the
most prestigious sports clubs in the port, acquired the building in
the late 1960's and still occupies it today."
