Long Description:
The co-ordinates are for the parking area beside Jervis Bay Road. A prominent sign will alert you to the location. You then need to walk approx. 400 metres along a bush track to the beach.

The beach is crescent shaped & well protected from southerly winds. The natural feature from which it takes its name is at the eastern end. The surrounding waters are part of the Jervis Bay Marine Park. You need to be self sufficient so bring as much or as little as you or your family are prepared to carry. The beach is tree lined so there is some shade. There are no surf life savers but the waters are shallow & waves small. The rocks along the shore are covered in oysters so bring suitable footwear so you can do some exploring.

Dogs are not allowed & there is no vehicular access. Given its relative remoteness topless sunbathing would be acceptable but it is not a nude beach. There is plenty of room to have a game of beach cricket or other ball games.

There are no facilities at this beach so it mainly attracts nature lovers giving you plenty of space to enjoy yourself.
