Long Description:
EN
The castle is located on rocky headland above Sazava river. The first mention about the castle is from the beginning of the 14th cent.

The castle originally belonged probably to Czech kings John the Blind and his son Charles IV. (CZ: Jan Lucemburský, Karel IV.) but the later was acquired by the masters of Kostelec.

The castle was burned in the 1467. The main castle buildings were demolished after the conquest of the castle. The restoration of the castle does not happen again.

CZ
