To the east of the current building of the Church of St John the Baptist is a preserved Eastern Chapel. Access is granted, but only on request in the church next door.

A nearby plaque reads:-

"The ruined eastern chapels, cut off from the main body of the church in 1581, were enclosed behind a high. This was removed in 1871, when the present retaining wall and raining were built.
