Long Description:
The hall is a long thin building with toilets at entrance with stage at other end, movable seating between. The acoustics are superb with the semi-circular ceiling. An induction loop has been fitted for hearing aid users. Behind the stage is another much smaller room with separate entrance and the kitchen.

The stage is an original feature, and can be extended both forwards and sideways. The curtain can be re-attached further forward, with fixings on the side walls and ceiling.

The hall opened on June 30, 1934 with the then Lord Cavendish performing the opening.

The hall has a variety of uses: for indoor bowling, talks from the local history society and antique fairs. Currently no group is using the stage. Own private parking with additional parking close by at the racecourse.
