Long Description:
A likely typo as "Rose Hall" in the guidebook where it should be "Rose Hill".

ROSE HALL, one of several houses built on Eastern Shore by the Ringgold family, later belonged to the Biddles. It has a double stringcourse at second floor level. Its once-noted gardens and lake have disappeared.
Maryland: A Guide to the Old Line State ---- published 1940

The 3200 sq ft brick house, which would have been large for late 1800s, still exists on a private farm growing winter wheat, beans, and hay. The grounds are now lined with trees and large bushes.

Street address is 9818 Washington Avenue, which is roughly two miles north of Chestertown on Highway MD213, thus matching the distances on the trip route in the guidebook.
