Long Description:
Malpaso is the highest point on the island El Hierro, one of the Canary Islands. It reaches a height of 1501 meters. The peak is part of a ridge so you have great views down to the north and the south. You can drive to “Cruz de los Reyes” where you can park your car (27° 43.610'N 18° 1.537'W, 1360 m above sea level). Follow the white-red marked path to the west for about 2 km. The way to the summit is part of the “Camino de la Virgen de los Reyes”, a pilgrimstrail across the island.
