Long Description:
There has been a church on this site since at least AD867, and it is a grade 1 listed building and a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
There has been a stone building here since 1181, and in 1757 the bell tower was added. 6 bells were then installed in 1759 and are still in use today. They were made by Lester and Pack of London.
3 of the bells have mottoes on them.
