Klatovy jsou zapadoceske okresni mesto lezici v Posumavi, 42,5 km jizne od Plzne. Mesto je nekdy take nazyvane „brana Sumavy“. Proteka jim maly Drnovy potok, ktery se vleva za mestem do Uhlavy. Mesto Klatovy zalozil kral Premysl Otakar II. okolo roku 1260.

Klatovy the West Bohemian district town situated in the Bohemian Forest, 42.5 kilometers south of Pilsen. The city is also sometimes called the "Gate of the Bohemian Forest. Turfy runs through a small creek, which empties into the city Uhlava. Klatovy town founded by King Premysl Otakar II. around the 1260th.
