Huskisson Beach is one of many beaches within Jervis Bay. It is the closest beach to the Huskisson township (ignoring the beach on the other side of Currumbene Creek which is not readily accessible).
The coordinates given are at the southern end of the beach near Moona Moona Creek and near a very nice picnic area. The beach features the very fine white sand that dominates Jervis Bay beaches.
The beach is a favourite with family groups.
The beach and its surroundings are good for swimming, sunbathing (use sunscreen!), playing, walking, volleyball, fishing, bird watching, launching kite surfers, windsurfers etc.
No vehicles are allowed on the beach. Dogs are not allowed on the beach. It is not a "clothing optional" beach. Refreshments are not available at the beach, but there are toilets near the posted coordinates. Beach access is not wheelchair friendly but the park above the beach is suitable for the disabled giving them a good view. No lifeguards are on duty. There is no rental of cabanas or chairs.
