Long Description:
I first noticed this cute statue back in early 1990s. It is an anonymous work of art typical of the eighteenth century Czech village (reflecting the official Baroque style). The dog, positioned on a pole by the gate, guards the entrance to the farm yard while the child plays with its collar.
