Long Description:
The Garden/Resort is a great place to visit, ~18kms south of Pattaya City. It is a large, attractive parkland, with lots of flowers, trees, walkways, topiaries, fish pools, and of course, elephants. It is possible to take an elephant ride through the park and partake of the scenery from this elevated position. There are also several shows each day. These run for 30 mins and display classical Thai dancing, Thai boxing (Muay thai), and elephants (try visiting Thailand without seeing an elephant show!). There is also a show of acrobatic elephants. These elephants propel pedal cars, shoot darts, paint pictures, and perform various other tricks. Between displays you will have the opportunity to feed the elephants bananas, which you will also have the opportunity to purchase.

At the end of the elephant show you may chose to lay on the ground in the elephant display area and have the elephants walk over you. Not to be missed. And, lastly, elephant massage. The elephants will place their large foot on you and 'massage', by moving said foot in a circular motion. One piece of advice, do not be the last man. For the amusement of the audience (specially the women, apparently) the last man is given a special massage, with the elephants trunk, not the foot. I will say no more.

A must see, imo, if you are in fun town.

Note: the English name is given in various forms: it can be Nong Nooch Tropical Garden, Nong Nooch Resort, Nong Nooch Botanical Garden/Park, etc. If you are met with a blank stare from a taxi driver, just speak slowly, repeat, and keep trying (fyi: the 'Nooch' is pronounced 'Noot')
