Long Description:Locomotive #220 (4-6-0) was built by the American Locomotive Company, at their Schenectady, NY plant in February of 1915. It was operated by the Central Vermont Railroad, pulling passenger and freight trains.

During it's operation it also pulled special trains carrying Calvin Coolidge, Herbert Hoover, Franklin Roosevelt, and Dwight Eisenhower; for this it is known as the "Locomotive of the Presidents".
Currently it is on static display with the private rail car "Grand Isle", and a large collection of railroad memorabilia: view gallery. A volunteer effort has led to extensive restoration of the mechanicals, with a goal of returning it to operational status.
