Long Description:
This Vietnam POW-MIA Memorial includes a series of freedom trees, including one dedicated to Capt. Bruce Nystrom. On December 2, 1966, Capt. Bruce August Nystrom, was lost in a night reconnaissance mission over the Red River delta area in North Vietnam.

The plaque reads: The Freedom Tree, with the vision of universal freedom for all mankind this tree is dedicated to Capt. Bruce Nystrom and all prisoners of war and missing in action 1973.
Location of the tree: Vietnam POW-MIA Memorial at the Cecil Commerce Center (formerly the Cecil Field Naval Air Station)
