Long Description:
This is a large scale commercial nursery which tends seed plugs to transplant size and then to retail store size (4, 6, and 10" pots). These plants are mostly flowering perennial and annual flowers, and Gilroy Young Plants participates in flower trials for European growers who need an American market.
Coordinates given are for the main driveway entrance; you can see the greenhouses from there but they are not accessible to the public and there are no retail sales at this location. The rows of greenhouses are also visible from nearby freeway 101. One row of greenhouses have half-dome roofs, the other row has gabled roofs with roof panes that open.
