Long Description:
Originally constructed in 1750 by the French for a barracks at Fort Little Niagara, it was then used by the British at Fort Schlosser. It's military career ended when it was used by Geo. Steadman, Master of the Portage Road, and later as a part of Broughton's Tavern. It was dis-assembled, moved , and re-assembled in 1898 by the Niagara Falls Power Company and later to it's present location in Porter Park, due to the construction of the Robert Moses Parkway,
