Long Description:
Clifton Hall is an old farm next to a 15th-century tower, sole survivor of the manor house of the Wybergh family, which was plundered by Jacobites in 1745.

This old pump can be found along the track leading to the Hall, which is open to the public. The pump has no marks or names and the hoses look newer than the rest. A small underground tank is in front with a tall breather pipe to the right.

The cautionary sign has faded, been replaced by a newer one, which has since had a milk advert stuck on - maybe the pump now pumps milk!
