Quick Description: Inactive lock on the White Water Canal. The lock now holds a water wheel that is used to power the adjacent working grain mill. The mill was built to take advantage of the water power from the canal.

Long Description:
Lock 25 was part of the White Water Canal, and the town of Metamora grew up nearby, and is quite the tourist attraction. The town retains the character of a mid 19th century town. Many quaint period buildings now house shops. Nice day trip from Cincinati or Indianapolis areas. The state runs a canal boat on the section downstream from this lock. Other locks can be seen downstream.
