Long Description:
For a taste of the East in the Midwest, venture up Angel Hill to the Folsom House. Established in the 1850s, this historic district of Taylors Falls maintains the feel of a New England-style village. When you tour this frame home, you'll learn about the colorful history of the area, the stories of lumber baron W.H.C. Folsom and his family, and the domestic customs of the time.

A native of Maine, Folsom was an enterprising lumberman who actively involved himself in the business and community life of Taylors Falls. His civic interests led him to serve as a state senator for six terms.
