Long Description:
John A. Bell's House, built in 1876 on a three acre lot on the outskirts of town, erected a characteristically fine residence. His house of many gables with decorative vergaboards, applied pilasters, a bay window, and bracketed eaves is finished with a unique siding which simulates cut stone. This siding is found on only two other Georgetown residences. Hoodmolds capped all windows.
John A. Bell's house on South Broadway was purchased late 1991 by Innkeepers Muriel & Les. The Pineapple Inn Bed & Breakfast was opened to the public early 1992. It has been operating continuously as an Inn since then.
