Long Description:
There are several of identical historic markers marking the Bad River Trail from Ft. Pierre upriver to the Black Hills. This particular marker is selected on two counts: 1) it was the best readable marker we found; and 2) hopefully if you find this one you will be well on your way to finding the geocache by the same name discussed below.
We give credit to Soolost for placing the
Bad River 'old Indian Trail' Cache (GCWZZY), an interesting, scenic drive cache. Seeking this cache was a treat, and of course, we ran on to some of the historic markers along the way upriver.
