Long Description:
Charley Turkel has to get his brother Henry out of prison, as Henry is starting to crack. Charley hatches a plan to hold the Home Secretary to ransom to get Henry’s release. To make the plan work Charley lets an Irish terrorist organisation steal arms and ammunition from the army. Charley’s men ambush and kill the terrorists and make off with the arms.

Doyle and Bodie are sent to investigate and find that amongst the arms hauls are grenades. This worries Cowley. Unfortunately for Charley, a simpleton, Billy Turner pinches a revolver and grenade and holds a nurse at the psychiatric hospital hostage. Billy wants to kill the psychiatrist that treated him, so Bodie takes his place whilst Doyle covers him with a rifle. Doyle manages to shoot Turner in the shoulder and Bodie manages to get the grenade in a rubbish skip before it explodes.

Billy admits where the arms are to Bodie and Doyle in interrogation. Charley has moved the arms, but Cowley now know that the Home Secretary is the target. The Home Secretary had been due to give a bravery award at a local police station, so Cowley takes his place with Bodie as a body guard. Charley and his men, disguised as policemen, have taken over the station. After Charlie has taken Cowley hostage he demands the release of his brother. Doyle, acting under Cowley’s instructions, takes Henry out into the street with a shotgun pointed at his head. Charley is forced to back down and surrenders.
