Long Description:
At the intersection with Hood Avenue in Sisters, turn onto Elm Street, which becomes FR16 in 0.4 miles. From the intersection, continue generally S for 5.9 miles. Turn left onto the new alignment of FR1610 and continue about 1.0 miles. Turn right on FR1620-150 and continue 0.4 miles to an unmarked intersection. Turn left and continue about 1910' S first along an unmarked road, then cross country to the corner.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on steel pipe in a ring of stones; rising 4"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is on the E edge of an old clear cut. Found four ponderosa pines with partly healed, scribed blazes. Only the nearest one has a yellow BEARING TREE tag and a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign. In addition, 3' N was found an orange Carsonite witness post with PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MARKER decals. Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present section corner bears S0.9°E from WAYMARK WMNB0J, 2645' distant.

What property is this mark defining?:
The land E of the corner is a part of Skyline Forest, presently owned by Fidelity National Timber; else Deschutes National Forest. See also Oregon Corner Restoration Record, Index File No. 0312, filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors Office.
