Long Description:
The bridge known as Hatters Bridge, was built as an accommodation bridge for a nearby farm around 1796 when the canal was extended from Gargrave to Burnley. The outer edge of the arch of the bridge is painted white and the cut mark painted black which really makes it stand out.
