Long Description:
The Arundel Cathedral is a Roman Catholic Cathedral, officially titled the The Cathedral Church of Our Lady and St Philip Howard. It is located in Arundel, West Sussex, England and was completed on 1st July 1873 and dedicated that same year.

The Cathedral was founded by Henry 15th Duke of Norfolk, whose family has been closely related to the Arundel; the old established family has owned extensive estates for centuries. the design of the building is attributed to Joseph Hansom (inventor of the Hansom cab).

It was originally dedicated to St Philip Neri, the founder of the Oratorian religious order. It became a Cathedral in 1965 when it became the foundation of the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton and rededicated to Our Lady and St Philip; it is the seat of the Bishop of Arundel and Brighton.

More recently, the cathedral was dedicated in 1973 to the recently canonised martyr St Philip Howard.

The cathedral is a Grade 1 listed building.
