Quick Description: This Canadian National Railway caboose sits beside the Royal Canadian Legion building in a small park at the corner of Fraser Street and 4th Street, across the road from the Lytton Museum in Lytton, British Columbia, Canada.

Long Description:
A sign on the caboose reads:
This caboose started life as a box car in 1918, then converted to a caboose in 1953. In 1984, as cabooses were being phased out of use, the Village of Lytton bought this one for $1.00

Since then it has been maintained by dedicated Lytton railway buffs, but is now part of Lytton Museum.
The caboose is normally locked up, but you can ask at the museum across the street for them to open it.
