[DE] Die Wasserversorgung erfolgte früher durch Laufbrunnen, von denen eine Vielzahl gusseiserner Exemplare aus der Produktion heimischer Eisenhütten erhalten sind. Sie stammen meist aus der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts und sind oft mit Zierat, Reliefdarstellung und geschmückten Brunnenköpfen versehen.
[EN] In former times, such fountains were the water supply. Many of the large cast-iron specimens were produced in the area in the second half of the 19th Century. They frequently have ornaments, reliefs and decorated fountain heads.
