O LOCAL
Dado o seu tamanho no Parque de Campismo Municipal de Mira existem vários edificios cada um com casas de banho, duches, locais para lavar a loiça e a roupa. Este é o maior e mais bem equipado do parque.

A PESSOA
"Fausto de Sousa Correia (Coimbra, 29 de Outubro de 1951 - Bruxelas, Bélgica, 9 de Outubro de 2007), advogado, foi uma personalidade portuguesa ligada a várias áreas, notavelmente desporto e política.

Licenciou-se em Direito, pela Universidade de Coimbra tendo exercido a profissão de advogado como também consultor empresarial, professor, jornalista, administrador, escritor, dirigente, político e deputado.

O funeral realizou-se a 13 de Outubro, em Coimbra e contou com a presença de inúmeras individualidades quer a nível político (incluindo o primeiro-ministro, José Sócrates), quer desportivo (p. ex.: o presidente da Académica, José Eduardo Simões) entre muitos conimbricenses."

THE PLACE
Given its size in the Municipal Camping of Mira there are several buildings each one with bathrooms, showers, places to wash the dishes and the laundry. This is the largest and best equipped of the park.

"The Municipal Camping of Mira is ideal for those who enjoy sea and beach, providing a unique scenery and landscapes.

Its major tourist attractions are the Beach, the Ethnographic Museum, the Barrinha, the Food and the Forest with bicycle and pedestrian paths.

THE PERSON
"Fausto de Sousa Correia (October 29, 1951 – 9 October 2007) was a Portuguese politician, deputy of the Portuguese Parliament, and Member of the European Parliament for the Socialist Party; part of the Party of European Socialists.

Born and raised in Coimbra, Fausto Correia earned a degree in law from the University of Coimbra. In his early years, Correia was journalist at the newspaper República.

As a member of the Portuguese Government headed by Prime-Minister António Guterres, in the early 2000s Correia played a major part in the establishment of the Loja do Cidadão (The Citizen's Shop), a one-stop-shop intended to improve quality in public services, and aimed to develop a new philosophy of more efficient and modern public service throughout the major cities of Portugal.

He was elected as a candidate of the Socialist Party to the European Parliament in the European Parliament Elections.

He was a former chairman of the Associação Académica de Coimbra - O.A.F. (in 1995), the major football club of Coimbra, and RDP, the state-managed public radio network of Portugal.

He died of a heart attack on 9 October 2007, in Brussels. He had been living and working in Belgium as a member of the European Parliament since 2004."
