In Norwood, on the east side of the highway and behind (and below) the Chateau Restaurant, is the Norwood Country Club.

The golf course is located off the northbound side of US Route 1, about a mile north of the intersection with Nahatan Street, a rotary above the highway - watch out navigating this road.

The course is an eighteen hole course that is near the Norwood Municipal Airport and abut wetlands of the Neponset River. There is also a driving range and putting green.

The country club is at the lowest level of a building that also houses the Chateau Restaurant. According to Patch.com, the country club has its own eating facility and event holding facilities. The course is open to the public.

It is open three seasons of the year, running roughly March through November.

Hours: Mon - Thurs, 6am - 11pm; Fri - Sat, 6am - midnight; Sun, 7am - 10pm

If you don't want to actually golf but like to view others golf, there are a couple restaurants that have views, including the Chateau - they have a room with a golf theme to it.
