Long Description:
Located on the grounds of Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside, California, a sign at the site informs us that this tree was planted with seeds by Fr. Antonio Peyri. The seeds had been brought by a sailor from Peru.
The tree is in the Mission's garden.
