Formerly the Old Ashland Post Office, the Ashland City Hall stands proud on the corner of W. 2nd St & 6th Avenue; its striking Romanesque architecture is sure to catch the attention of people driving by. It was built in 1893 from locally mined brownstone, was used first as a post office, then a vocational school, and now as city hall.
