Long Description:
Cruising down a section of Hiway 3 we never travel, we spotted this marker's witness sign high up on a rock cut and screeched to a halt to check it out. Was hoping for a benchmark, but we'll take any found survey marker, too. It's on the north side of the hiway about 14 km. southeast of the interchange at the Castlegar Airport and 2.5 km. west of the Bombi Pass Summit. It was a bit precarious taking pix, but we survived without serious mishap.
This one is simply marked "373" and if memory serves, I believe we found another marked "373" last year - just can't remember where.
