Long Description:
Just 2.5 km. northeast of Fruitvale, a half klik or so past the artesian well west of the road, on the east side of the road. NAD83 coordinates make life a lot easier for us benchmark hunters, don't they? Park and grab. This one even has its blue witness sign still in place. On the other hand, I do like the sleuthing sometimes necessary in order to get close to one of these. There's satisfaction to be had in finding a really tough one.
